On January 15th, 2009, Captain Chesley Sullenberger's Boeing 747 'Colgan Air Flight 3407' crashed into the Hudson River after a flock of Canada geese clogged its engines. The crash killed all 155 people on board while injuring 6 others. The captain and first officer both lost their lives in the attempt to save the remaining passengers.
