Call You Right Back, Mum Free Audiobook Download by Wanda Beemsterboer

This is a lighthearted comedy from the author of July's Incurable Romantic and The Boyfriend List. It tells the story of two women. One, Wanda Beemsterboer, is a well-travelled travel writer who shares her love of food with readers on her blog. She loves to cook-but maybe not as much as she loves to eat. Her family has no idea how much until they discover her weight loss pills. The other woman is Wanda's mother, Margaret Beemsterboer, who lives in a small Dutch town with her husband and son. When Wanda visits home for Christmas she discovers a love letter to herself that has been signed by an old flame-a man named Peter Sloane

As a mother, you can't avoid being a little bit scared when your baby disappears for the first time. Having a good support system, like a series of family and friends who are willing to help and reassure you, can really help ease those fears. In Call You Right Back, Mum by Wanda Beemsterboer, Rachel Atkins gives readers advice on how they can help their child while they go through the process of separation anxiety. The book is told from both the parents' perspective and that of their two-year-old son.

Call You Right Back, Mum is the story of a family who are in the process of being separated. The mother, Wanda, has been working too much and leaves her daughter with her wife while she goes to work. The wife, Kate, becomes increasingly jealous of Wanda as she starts to spend more time on her writing career. As life gets more hectic for the family, they start drifting apart and one night Wanda walks out and leaves them all behind.

"It's really hard, Mum. I'm not sure I can do this." "When I first started gardening, I cried everyday because the plants would grow and grow and then die." "I couldn't stop crying. It was awful."- From Call You Right Back, Mum

The story is about the author's mother, who dealt with dementia and ultimately died. Her death is what led to the author writing her memoirs which were published as a children's book. The audiobook was released in October of 2015 and became a New York Times Bestseller after two weeks. What makes this one so interesting is that it is narrated by the mother herself - her voice over the phone as she speaks to her daughter.

This book is set in a modern-day world where there are no adults. Children have to take care of themselves, feed themselves, make their own clothes and keep other children safe. Mum is the one adult they can always trust, the one they've grown up with and know everything about.
