Ask Me What's for Dinner One More Time: Inappropriate Thoughts on Motherhood Free Audiobook Download by Meredith Masony

"I am thinking of a bird It has a name and it's called And I hope that you ask me what's for dinner tonight I hope that you ask me what's for dinner tonight" - Meredith Masony

This is a story of how a mother with no kids and a husband who's working every day to support her realized that she couldn't do this on her own.

I cannot say that I am surprised by the response to my audiobook of Inappropriate Thoughts on Motherhood, but it has been interesting. The first 20 reviews were all 5 stars. Then came a 4 star followed by an 3 star. And then from everyone else who reviewed the book I received 1 star reviews.

[Ask Me What's for Dinner One More Time: Inappropriate Thoughts on Motherhood is a] memoir of [Meredith Masony's] life and her experiences raising her three children.

This is a memoir of how Meredith Masony, a thirty-year old successful lawyer, became pregnant and had to reinvent her life again. Her husband was not excited about the idea of children, so they did virtually everything by themselves: they created their own baby name and named their daughter Camilla after their favorite author. Meredith's relationships with others in this book are quite difficult at times, but it's very well-written and comes from a place of honesty.

In "Ask Me What's for Dinner One More Time", Murphy writes a breakdown of her thoughts on motherhood that are both hilarious and incredibly relatable. She correctly identifies the emotions we feel as new parents, and the guilt and happiness that come with them.
