Brittany Goodwin adds a soothing voice to this story giving it a different take on the climate of the book. The story is well written and enjoyable but doesn't give you much insight on what is happening past the surface.

Winter has come to terms with her heritage and what it means to be a born black vampire. She's been on the search for her mother, who she believes is the one that started the darkness within her. Along the way, she found out that not only does she have a half-brother...but he's also a black vampire! Now, can she redeem herself from what she's done?

Winter's Redemption is the third novel in Mary Stone's Winter Black Series. As this story unfolds, it may feel as if you are reading a parallel novel to the first two novels in the series. There are many similarities between the three books and they are all excellent reads. Readers will enjoy reading about how Caden and his brothers have grown up and their trials and tribulations on their journey in life.
