Whose Body: A Lord Peter Wimsey Mystery Free Audiobook Download by Dorothy L. Sayers

Who is Lord Peter Wimsey? He is a dilettante, a man who has no profession, does not work like the vast majority of people, and has no plans to do so. He spends most of his time being bored, drinking, playing games of some sort or other and spending time with women. Now he is also dragged into an investigation by his best friend and secretary Bunter who needs help finding out who killed Harriet Vane three days ago.

While vacationing in the Sussex countryside, Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane are put in an awkward position when their housekeeper's corpse is discovered with a bullet in the head. Detective Inspector Parker is on the case and despite his objections to this being a "woman's crime," he has a hard time believing it was murder. Can they solve this mystery without risking a scandal?

[John Rayburn] is a masterful narrator. His voice is perfect for the stories and has a well-rounded tone that doesn't feel too much like one character over another. Also, he's able to keep the suspense around these various mysteries alive as they unfold.

With the voice of a man who has spent his life in the shadows, this is a gripping audiobook that will have you on the edge of your seat.

In the novel, Whose Body, Lord Peter Wimsey investigates the death of a wealthy man who was found in his car with his throat cut. The victim's family is convinced that he committed suicide and they think that the crime must have been committed by someone who knew him but they can't figure out who it was. Lord Peter has a theory, as does another character in the story, but neither of them can prove it. In order to solve the case, more murders are committed and each time there is a different clue that leads to another murder being solved.
