Walk Through Fire is the fourth book in the series. It features a heroine, Amelia James, who has joined the ranks of "The Nine," which is a group dedicated to fighting supernatural forces. Kate has had a rough life. Her father was a drug addict and she's been bounced off foster homes since she was old enough to remember. After serving time in prison for statutory rape and theft, Kate gets out of jail, steals her mom's car, and goes on the run with her eight-year-old brother. Walk Through Fire is the second book in the series and picks up right where the first left off. The two main characters, Echo and Travis, are still trying to figure out what happened to them five years ago during a mission that was supposed to only last six months. Throughout the story, they try to piece together what happened while also not giving away too much information to their team members because they know with all of the secrets comes great risk.

"Walk Through Fire" is a great book about the sacrifices that people make and the power of love. The audiobook has a wonderful narration by Kate Russell who does an amazing job relating to the characters in this story!
