Under the Lake Free Audiobook Download by Stuart Woods

Tom Stechschulte is the narrator of this book. I was expecting a different narrator, but I found Stechschulte to be an excellent choice for this book. He did an excellent job reading the story, which has a lot of suspense and action in it. Readers who enjoy listening to audiobooks will love listening to this one.

The book is narrated in first person by Tom Sawyer. It starts on the day that his father's partner dies and the family has to investigate the crime. This leads them deep into the woods, where they discover something lurking under the lake they were just fishing in- a vampire. The story then continues with Tom and his friends as they fight against V under the lake, trying to find out what he is and how he came to be there.

This is the latest suspense novel by Stuart Woods that has a strong focus on the main character's life. It unravels with the protagonist returning to his hometown to settle for collecting his family's scattered belongings and selling their house. There, just off a pier in the center of town, he discovers his childhood home and meets a woman that he had longed to have back all these years.

A small town Pennsylvania is nearly destroyed by a mysterious, man-made disaster. Or maybe not so mysterious. The main character's son is one of the first to die in the accident, and he decides to go looking for answers. He finds out that his son's death and other deaths were caused by "toxic sludge" that was dumped into the lake near where he lived. Now it's up to him to clean up after the mess, find out what went wrong, and get justice for all involved.

Following the death of his father, Josh Royce returns to his small hometown in New Hampshire and begins to unravel a shocking secret that has been buried under the town's lake since it was flooded.
