Two Fronts Free Audiobook Download by Harry Turtledove

This is a two book series that was written by Harry Turtledove. The books are about World War II and the beginning of World War III. They're told in a timeline where both events take place within one year and utilize one another to tell the story; you will learn more about how war begins and then is fought.

In the future, America has separated into two nations. The Republic of Texas is to the south while the Union of Pennsylvania is to the north. The Republic has recently taken the town of Reynosa with a bloody battle and its leader is threatening to take up arms against the states of Philadelphia if they don't accept Texas as a separate nation. But there's something else going on in this otherwise peaceful time that could change everything.

The narrator, Todd McLaren is a great choice for the job. His voice seems to be a perfect fit for this dark tale. Harry Turtledove has written a classic in the sci-fi genre and I'm looking forward to reading more of his work.

Two Fronts is a fantastic book from Harry Turtledove, the American author of alternate history books. In this tale, an American army led by George Custer travels to France in 1892 to fight for the French Republic against the forces of the German Empire. The main protagonist is Lt. Colonel George Armstrong Custer and his story is told through his letters home to his fiancee Elizabeth Bacon Custer.

Sgt. A. J. Devereaux has always been a bit less than enthusiastic about war, but that made him perfect for the military press...until suddenly he found himself in the front lines on the wrong side of history. From deep within enemy territory, he is caught between a desperate struggle to survive and unexpected insights into those who oppose him.

In the audiobook, 'Todd McLaren' narrates this great book about two people from different sides of a massive war. They were enemies before the war, but now they must find each other and make their way through the destruction and hardship that follows. The audio is available in a variety of languages so you can listen to it in your native language.
