Tyler Durden is the unhinged narrator of the novel, who narrates with a distinctive southern vernacular. Durden tells us that he has been diagnosed with what sounds like schizophrenia, but adds that it's not a disability, but rather "something to learn from". Durden also tells us that his name is actually Tyler Durden from Norwalk, Ohio and says he has never done anything in his life that would make anyone want to kill him.

Welcome to the world of Tim Dorsey. An ex-cop turned private eye and his sleuths are going in search of a missing girl from a local Washington, D.C. gang. The typical white, privileged, American family is not all that's missing in Triggerfish Twist - the reader is left wondering if crime really pays and if good does not always triumph over evil.
After spending a few hours in the company of Triggerfish Twist, the protagonist is ready to go back to her husband and baby. But when she reaches out for her handbag, it's no longer there.
George K. Wilson makes an interesting narrator for this story of a family in Texas who is about to be broken when a policeman comes to arrest the mother for suspected shoplifting. The father turns to his son for help, giving him a gun, but things turn out just as he feared when the son shoots his father and then himself. Triggerfish Twist is a riveting listen that will keep you guessing up until the end.
