Tower of Babel Free Audiobook Download by Michael Sears

Recently I was in the mood for a good adventure story set in ancient times. The one we have all been hearing about is the Tower of Babel which I had never read. So I did a search on audible and found that Michael Sears has an audiobook of his own version from this story. It was a quick, enjoyable listen that was arranged well and narrated by Richard Poe who does excellent work with the voice work.

The story begins with an old man, Elihu, who has been left with a treasure trove of knowledge that he is eager to share. The problem is he's been waiting for the world's smartest person to come along, someone who can take down his tower and understand it all.

A new world is discovered and it has a ton of amazement. The first step to winning the adventure is for the two heroes to hook up with some archeological team members so that they can get the full scoop on this place. They finally meet up with their contact just in time for them to learn about a quest that needs their immediate attention. With the guidance of their contact, they take off on this journey and explore this magical land.

Tower of Babel is a book written by Michael Sears. It is about the idea of language being forgotten and some groups of humans forming their own language. The books main protagonist, Eucatoria, is one of these people that speak their own language. This audiobook was originally published in 1997; however, the narrator is unknown.

T.O.B.L is a high fantasy stacked with a number of intriguing twists, turning what could be a standard quest-type story into something more complex and interesting. The main character, Robert Frobisher, could easily have been written as the typical hero - he's handsome, witty, charming - but he has some serious issues going on in his life that seem to get in the way of simply getting the girl.
