I love the idea that witches are real and that they hide in plain sight. This story is told through the eyes of a fifteen year old girl named Brianna Colette who just wants to escape her overbearing family.

She is able to make the listeners feel how a specific character feels in a certain situation. The Year of the Witching has bright, comic-book-like illustrations that go hand in hand with the story's themes.
