The Wonder is a novel written by Emma Donoghue. It is narrated by a 12-year-old girl named Jack. She tells the story of her family, who are all kidnapped when they're living in Ireland and taken to London after being separated from each other. This event changes the way she sees the world, and it makes her feel worthless.

"The Wonder" is too short a story to explore all of the complex emotions it stirs up in its readers, but it's still worth reading--and listening to--because it has so many memorable moments and vivid imagery.

Kate Lock is a wonder. She has created an audio book that is absolutely magical and my favorite read of the year so far. Kate Lock has a voice that will make you fall in love with her narration. There are many different narrators for this audio book, but I never felt disconnected from the story or lost when I was listening to it. It was a very immersive listen and I binge listened for four days straight when I started listening to it.
