It's a story about a man, Simon, who escapes from the monastery in which he was born and raised to the outside world where he must learn to survive. Simon is only able of seeing "grey" around him until one day he meets Willa and her son, both characters that are so intricately intertwined with his beings (physical/emotional) that he learns to see color for the first time ever.
