Her life is chaotic and the weight doesn't seem to change- no matter what she does. She comes across an article about regular people's weight loss by eating only liquid calories for one hundred days in a row. Intrigued, she decides that this could be her answer.

Corrie James is a writer who enjoys writing gloomy stories. Corrie James narrated this audiobook and she did a great job. The Weight of Ink is a compelling story about the idea that memories are heavier than ink, and she has a lot of different emotions throughout the book. The protagonist has lived with her past for years, but then she finds out that not everything was as it seemed.

'[Corrie James]' is the narrator of this story. She's trying to figure out how to incorporate ink into her life, how to incorporate it into her work, how to incorporate it into her family. She decides that she wants a tattoo but is a little overwhelmed with all the choices, so she takes some advice from her friend who works as a tattoo artist at an ill-fated tattoo shop, getting thru every decision by drinking too much coffee.
