The Twelve Jays of Christmas: A Meg Langslow Mystery Free Audiobook Download by Donna Andrews

Meg Langslow is the main character in this Meg Langslow Mystery. This is her first attempt at solving a case with the help of her early twenties friend, Private Investigator Lancelot "Lance" Tibbs, who is black. The Twelve Jays of Christmas is a mystery novel that takes place during the Christmas season. This book also has a non-traditional ending which makes it stand out from other books by Donna Andrews.

A holiday mystery with a dash of humor, festive romance, and family drama. Meg is spending the holidays with one of her sisters who has just remarried. With the help of her cat, in-laws, and sister-in-law's husband, Meg tries to figure out who sent the threatening emails to her sister's new husband

It has been a few years since Meg Langslow left the small, idyllic town of Bucklebury to pursue her career as a mystery writer and then home she came back in the middle of the night to find a murder. But all is not well in this tiny community, as an escalating feud between two families threatens to tear the fabric that holds them together.

The Twelve Jays of Christmas is the 12th installment in the Meg Langslow series and it is a really good mystery. On Christmas Eve, Meg and her family hear noises from downstairs and go to investigate. They find Santa's sleigh in their living room… with a dead body in it. This entry was more action-based than some of the others but it was still entertaining.

Meg Langslow had a successful career as a florist that abruptly ended when her shop was broken into and her work stolen. Now she's forced to go back to work for the family business, which means taking over Maurer's Department Store as the new owner in January. Meg knows nothing about running a department store, let alone how to find a building on Christmas Eve, so she decides to make it easy on herself by creating an automated Christmas tree with lights, decorations and music.

Meg Langslow is a twenty-year old woman who always has Christmas on her mind. She is obsessed with Christmas and loves nothing more than to plan for the holiday season from crafting her own Advent Calendar to planning out what she'll be doing around town each day of December. This year, she discovers that her grandmother's house was left to Meg in her stead. Meg would like for one thing to happen this Christmas: for someone else to make the arrangements for the house so she can get back to enjoying her life.
