The Turn of the Key Free Audiobook Download by Ruth Ware

There is so much anticipation for this new season of a series I have fallen in love with, and the suspense was nicely enhanced by the alternating narration.

The Turn of the Key is a mystery novel about a woman who has to solve her husband's murder. The main character, Ruth Ware, has to pick up the pieces of her life without knowing who killed her husband and why. She essentially becomes sleuth-like in order to figure out what happened by dismantling evidence and analyzing each piece.

She has a plan in mind. She will get clean, staying on the right side of the law and turning her life around. That may be easier said than done, though, as when she attends a charity wine tasting event with her best friend Helen she meets someone who changes everything.

Ruth Ware's second novel is a dark, long-form work of crime fiction based in England. It tells the story of two daughters, Anna and Lucy. The novel begins when Anna finds out that her parents are in peril and she must flee to England as they are being held hostage by an unknown person. After Anna and Lucy reunite in London, they take refuge at a remote cottage where they discover a horrifying secret: someone has been keeping each of their mothers captive for years.

As a detective, Ruth Ware knows that she is in for the kind of challenge she'd never had before when she is asked to investigate the murder of a wealthy businessman. She agrees on the premise that his death isn't connected to her original investigation and sets out to prove it. However, as her personal life starts to unravel, mutilating evidence seems to point in an entirely different direction.
