It is a good story, but it takes its time to develop and really get going. It's not that I didn't enjoy listening to The Stolen Hours; I did. I just felt like with this title that there should have been more action right off the bat.

I like the way Allen Eskens writes because it makes me feel like I'm right there with Jacob throughout the entire book.
