The Sinner Free Audiobook Download by Petra Hammesfahr

This audiobook is a great take on the classic story. At first, the narrator sounds like she's reading from a book and you don't know if it's good or not but once you get used to her voice and how it changes from story to story, you start following along as she reads.

I have read the book, translated into English by [Peter Hammesfahr] but I'm sure the audiobook is just as good and really enjoyed hearing it performed by Christa Lewis. She has a beautiful voice and did an excellent job at reading this story of a woman who keeps getting into trouble, but she tries not to let that get in the way of her life with her family.

The Sinner is a psychological thriller that follows the life of thirty-six year old Kat and her journey to become an abolitionist. Kat returns to her hometown in order to find herself and what she really wants, but finds that the town offers no solace and only exacerbates her loneliness. She takes up with a group of friends who are all exploring their own identities, but as they grow closer, those identities start to blur into one another. When a group of girls start disappearing from their school, the friends think it has something to do with them.

The Sinner is a fascinating novel that follows the aftermath of a murder. The protagonist, Adam, was convicted of murdering his wife and unborn child, but now years later he has gotten out of prison and is determined to prove his innocence. This book explores the complicated relationship between guilt and innocence as well as how people's perception can play tricks on us. Another interesting aspect of this novel is the unreliable narrator who has some serious mental health struggles.

This novel follows protagonist Cora Seton as she falls into her own personal purgatory. She is no longer the girl who has everything together and finally finds peace within herself, but rather someone who feels lost and inadequate for the first time in her life.

The Sinner is the story of a woman who murders her husband as he sleeps. She leaves him to die and runs away from New York City, vowing never to be found. As she struggles with guilt and loneliness, return trips to New York become more frequent until one day she sees her husband in their old apartment and realizes that he's still alive.
