The Secrets You Keep is a mystery novel which follows Vivian and her husband as they go on a cruise. They soon run into trouble when they find out that the ship they are on has been hijacked. After the captain is killed, Vivian takes charge of the situation and tries to figure out not only who those responsible for hijacking their cruise ship, but how to get them back without getting arrested herself.

This have been a really good book. The story begins with a young girl, her parents, and her grandmother staying at a family summer home. While exploring the area one day, the girl finds an old box that tells the girls ancestors stories of what happened at the home and it leads them to find out why they can't sell their property. The book is well written and has some very interesting twists and turns that continue to keep your interest while listening. It's not easy to find audiobooks done by a narrator you like so I was more than pleased with Amy McFadden who has a soothing voice that allows me to get lost in the story.

The Secrets You Keep is a story about secrets, secrets people have been keeping for a long time and secrets that should be kept. Secrets are what drives the stories of the characters in this book which are all different and unique. This book will make you think about who you can trust and how to keep your own secret.
