The Other Einstein Free Audiobook Download by Marie Benedict
Marie Benedict has an interesting take on the story of Einstein. She's taken what we know about him and told us a different story, bringing in many other people who were also influential in contributing to his genius. As you read this book, you'll be able to see how certain events leading up to Einstein's life played a role in shaping his work as well as the lives of those around him.
Marie Benedict's The Other Einstein is a richly textured novel. It weaves historical and scientific fact into the tale of Albert Einstein's friendship with Conrad Habicht, a young scientist who served Einstein as his personal secretary, but was also looking for greater inspiration from his idol.
The Other Einstein is a biography of Albert Einstein and his wife, Elsa. Marie Benedict also shares anecdotes about their life together and her thoughts on their marriage. The narration is done by Mozhan Marno. With how she narrates, it feels as if she is sharing these stories with the reader directly and exploring what happened in the lives of these two beloved figures in history.
When Detective Walter Breen is kidnapped, his autistic daughter, Anna, seeks the help of Walter's former colleague, Dr. David Einstein. He takes her to a parlor in which there is an electromagnetic field that allows people to travel back and forth in time. The story is told by David Einstein's point-of-view as he explains what it's like to be different from the rest of society and how he had hope for Anna because she can see him as a human being despite being hidden away on the autism spectrum.
Marie Benedict has written a book that is honest and courageous, at times painfully so. It is a true story of her struggle with depression and the intricacies of human relationships.
One of the best things about this book is that it made me laugh and cry. One of the worst things about this book is that it made me laugh and cry. This book was also a joy to listen to, as the narrator had a pleasant voice and kept me interested in listening to her throughout the entire story. Even with all these positive attributes, I still wouldn't say that this is one of those books that I would recommend to everyone.
