But when an elderly woman comes into his store and asks him to find her missing granddaughter, he agrees to help her. With the help of some unique bookshop resources and a motley group of friends from all walks of life - including an overzealous 15-year-old girl, Lucien; Monsieur Dizy, proprietor of a local cheese shop; and Madame Mallory, owner of Le Temps Retrouvé antiques shop - he eventually finds Beatrice in Vienna.

The Little Paris Bookshop is a novel written by Nina George. It is narrated by three different narrators, Cassandra Campbell, Emma Bering and Steve West. The audiobook starts off in France as the protagonist Roland goes to open up his bookshop for the first time. He is trying to forget the heartbreak that he experienced after his wife died during childbirth. In order to do so, he travels to Paris. After a while, he falls in love with another woman and has a son with her. They live a simple life with lots of books surrounding them which was the life Roland wanted before marriage and childbirth changed it all for him.
