The Last of the Mohicans Free Audiobook Download by James Fenimore Cooper

There are so many amazing quality sounds that can be found in this audiobook, it is definitely worth the time and money. I love the narration of The Last of the Mohicans, it was so different and cool with a touch of humor sprinkled throughout. There are little noises and such that you would hear if you were actually in the story like the crackle and click of campfires, gunfire, horses galloping, etc.

James Fenimore Cooper's The Last of the Mohicans is considered to be one of the greatest American novels. Published in 1826, it shares many similarities with William's other books such as The Spy, including a strong sense of morality and a sense of adventure. However, unlike Costello's other work, this book was particularly praised for its narrative style.

Eric Stedman, who is called Hawkeye, and his brother Duncan have been adopted by Magua and Uncas. In order to escape the Mohicans they live with the Hurons where they are taken in by Chingachgook, Huron shaman. After being hunted down by their enemies in the Adirondacks of upstate New York, Hawkeye and Duncan run into Cora Munro who will become their second mother.

In the award-winning James Fenimore Cooper novel "The Last of the Mohicans" by William Costello, our hero Uncas is an Indian boy found in a ditch by Hawkeye and Chingachgook who are hunting for the last part of their bounty that was left behind. The two take him back to their trading post in hopes that he will be able to speak with the natives about what happened to his tribe. Uncas tells them of a plot hatched by Magua, who has captured Uncas' village and promises to lead them out if they can help find some white boys for him.

The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper is an adventure novel that tells the story of Natty Bumppo, an American frontiersman in the late 18th century. The main character, Hawkeye, is a scout for the British army. He has a particularly uncanny ability to see and use game trails in any terrain and his skill as a sharpshooter has come to be feared by his enemies as well as friends. In this book, Cooper focuses on how Hawkeye's friend and ally Uncas was able to take advantage of this skill in order to defeat their common enemy.

The Last of the Mohicans narrated by William Costello is both a captivating adventure and a brilliant reflection on European colonization of North America. It opens in the year 1757, when three British soldiers take up refuge in a cave while escaping from French troops. When they emerge back into the world, they discover that years have passed without them. The King has died without an heir and civil war has broken out. The original novel was later published in 1826 to positive reviews.
