The Killer is the story of two New York policemen, who on their first day on the job, make a gruesome discovery: a woman has been murdered in her apartment. The detectives are put on the case by a senior detective, who also happens to be their supervisor. It soon becomes clear that this is just one in a string of brutal murders connected to an occultist cult.

A man who will stop at nothing to find his missing wife, this audiobook has been on my wishlist for a while. I was recommended the audiobook by a friend and I'm so glad I listened. It's a good story that had me hooked from the beginning. [Rob Shapiro] does an amazing job narrating the story, with the perfect tone for each character.

The audiobook is narrated by Rob Shapiro and is a little over an hour long. There are six chapters in total and each chapter has about 10-12 minutes of audio. Each chapter starts with a brief description of the events leading up to the murder, followed by the killer's perspective and then a few lines from Mr. Shapiro's narration. The narration is fast-paced and I found it hard to not get wrapped up in the story!

The story is told from the perspective of David Berkowitz, the murderer himself, who claimed that his neighbor's dog started his killing spree. Tom Wood narrates this audiobook and it's full of suspenseful voice emotions that add to the gripping story.
