The book starts off with Eliza Knight as she leaves her small town of Grouse Ridge and moves to the city of Toronto, Canada. Soon after arriving at her job as an office assistant at a real estate company, she meets Gaelan MacLeod. As soon as they're introduced, they begin to grow closer, but there are secrets that Gaelan keeps from her - secrets that continue to drive them apart even years later.
Corrie James does a superb job narrating The Highlander's Lady. She has the perfect voice for telling this story.
