The Great Alone: A Novel Free Audiobook Download by Kristin Hannah

The Great Alone is the story of four people who find themselves stranded in Alaska, and the love that binds them together. The book follows two couples who were left with no choice but to take refuge from their deteriorating lives - a World War II veteran and his daughter, and a widowed woman whose husband left her for good.

The Great Alone follows the story of two sisters who are left to take care of their parents when they move from New York City to Minnesota. It is a novel that longs for the days gone by and places value on the dichotomy between notions of country and city, love and family. The narrator brings life to the text in ways that I could not imagine doing myself.

"The Great Alone" tells the story of a family who, when disaster strikes, gathers to escape from their Montana ranch. Thirteen years later, son Charlie is living and working in Alaska, estranged from his parents. When he learns that the family ranch has been purchased by a developer, he returns home to save it before it's too late.

The Great Alone is a 2017 novel by Kristin Hannah. The Great Alone tells the story of an 18-year-old, Mary, whose parents move her and her younger brother to a remote Alaskan retreat called "The Great Alone" in the midst of the 1970s energy crisis.

Seventeen-year-old, Alaskan wilderness guide, Mattie Ross is the voice of a young girl who has survived the Great Alone. In the winter of 1932, her father is killed by a man known as Big Jim Rennie because he had seen or heard something he shouldn't have. The story then goes on to tell how Mattie sets out to find and revenge her father's killer.

Though I am not a fan of reading, this is a book I could not put down. The Great Alone is the story of two people, who meet at a gas station in Alaska, only to embark on the journey of their lives. Each has lost something and needs each other to survive. But no matter what hardships are set before them and how close they seem to get to each other, neither can offer the love that is missing from their pasts.
