The Glass Hotel tells the story of a man whose life falls apart when his wife, who had been living in an asylum and then died, finally emerges from her dark room. The Glass Hotel is a novel based in the near future, where the world is experiencing a new type of climate change. In an attempt to save their lives, people are fleeing to the abandoned glass hotels still standing around the world. The Glass Hotel tells the story of one person's journey through this changing landscape and what effects it has on their family.
I found this book to be a really interesting story about a man who records his entire life. The main character is completely obsessed with his life and he records everything. He starts by recording every detail of his childhood, then moves on to recording everything that he has done in the past fifty two years. As he records his life, he becomes more and more obsessed with it. At the end of the novel, you find out why Dylan Moore is so obsessed with what happens in his life and ultimately where all the events of the book lead him.
This is a haunting audiobook about a hotel that exists in a world where there has been no war and everything is perfect. The protagonist arrives at the hotel after hearing rumors of people who have died in strange circumstances.
After the death of her actress mother, Dylan Moore is sent to live with her grandmother in a haunted hotel. She quickly learns that it's not just the hotel ghosts who are trying to get into her world. The people close to her have their own secrets and fears and they seem like they're going to push her away when she needs them most.
'Dylan Moore' searches for her father in the wake of a global pandemic, and ends up in an abandoned hotel where she finds more than she bargained for.
