The Garden of Eden Free Audiobook Download by Ernest Hemingway

The Garden of Eden by Ernest Hemingway has been a great book that I have enjoyed reading. The characters in the book are really interesting, and the plot is exciting. The narrator, Patrick Wilson does a fantastic job with his voice acting for this audiobook and you can tell that he put a lot of effort into it.

This is the story of a man who travels to an African country, takes on the job of a big game hunter, and gets himself into a difficult situation that causes him to lose his way. He ends up hunting in the jungle by himself and runs into natives with spears. He is saved by an old man and kept alive while listening to stories from the natives. Eventually, he began to grow fond of this place and finds peace, love, and redemption in it.

"The Garden of Eden" is a short novella written by Ernest Hemingway and published in 1930. It tells the story of an American man who goes to Africa to reveal the truth about his father's death. The protagonist, Jake Barnes, finds himself back in Spain where he meets another man named Robert Cohn. Jake falls in love with Cohn and they have a brief affair. When Jake discovers that Cohn is married, he decides that it is best for them both to part ways.

There are many different interpretations of the Garden of Eden in literature and popular culture, but Ernest Hemingway's version is one that brings out the hopelessness present in both Adam and Eve. The narrator, Patrick Wilson, does an excellent job in keeping the reader feeling like they are there with Adam and Eve as they question anything and everything; questioning their purpose for being on Earth.

This was my first time reading the Garden of Eden and it was a difficult read. There is a lot of vocabulary in this novel, and Hemingway's style makes the book hard to understand. I had a tough time keeping up with what was happening, but I'm glad I persevered because there were some interesting themes that I think would be worth discussing.
