The Door to December Free Audiobook Download by Dean Koontz

A week ago, I would have never imagined that tomorrow I would be listening to a new audiobook by one of my favorite authors. What had started with a book recommendation from my husband now culminated into a stunning audio production by narrating George Guidall.

It's 2:00 in the morning and you're locked outside your house. You've just been robbed and you're desperate to escape before the thieves come back. The only door out of your home is boarded shut, but something tells you that there's a door on this side of the house that leads to December, where it's always Christmas. As a detective with a hidden talent for premonitions he'll soon find out that this may not be such a crazy idea after all.

When I am given the opportunity to read a Dean Koontz book, I always jump on it and buy it. The Door to December is one of my favorite books by him. I listened to the audiobook version narrated by George Guidall, which was perfect for me because he has an amazing voice that makes the book come alive with each word.

The Door to December is a book that tells the story of sixteen year old Mackie Delgato who is about to begin his sophomore year of high school. After winning a high stakes bet, he suddenly finds himself thrust into an adventure that takes him across the country, and even beyond. He is met with many unforgettable characters, each with their own unique backstory and personality. The audiobook makes it easy to listen while speeding through your daily tasks, allowing you to finish in just a few hours.

There are a lot of reasons why I love this book. It's dark, creepy, sad, and suspenseful. This is the perfect book for a snowy night. If you're looking to read a scary story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, then The Door to December may be just what you need.

"I remember only bits and pieces of those hours in my otherwise fragmented memories--screaming, the cold and dark, pain that was so intense I was unconscious for a time and came to not knowing where I was. My thoughts were jumbled and hazy, fraught with terror." With this forewarning, Dean Koontz's latest novel is sure to keep readers on the edge of their seats until the end.
