The Doom of Fallowhearth Free Audiobook Download by Robbie Macniven

The Doom of Fallowhearth is a dystopian novel that focuses on the world's downfall. The story revolves around three main characters: Eli, Glaringly-Glossy-Gorgeous, and Gerda. These three fight to make sense of their place in a world gone wrong, but what happens when they're captured by a superior being?

The Doom of Fallowhearth is narrated by Derek Shoales who has a good voice for the role. I love how he enthusiastically read this book and got really into the story. It was slightly hard to understand some bits due to the noise in my car but overall it was a good listen.

This is the first in a spin-off series of the Rival series from Robin Hobb. It was really interesting to listen to and I think it would be cool for other people who are fans of that series to get this too.

The Doom of Fallowhearth is a book about post-apocalyptic science fiction. The story, set in the area of future Newfoundland where the disaster happened, is inspired by the folklore and folk traditions of the region. In this apocalyptic story, a comet smashed into the earth and caused nuclear winter with the radiation spread over much of North America. The survivors live in a social hierarchy where they must contribute to society based on skillsets ranging from hunting to farming and herding animals to mining.

"Derek Shoales’s narration is smooth and very natural. The Doom of Fallowhearth was a very entertaining listen."
