The Dark Half Free Audiobook Download by Stephen King

This audiobook was an easy listen, although it did sound a little like a children's story. I loved the writing and discussions from Grover, who seemed to be struggling and unsure of himself throughout this audiobook.

Stephen King's creepy-as-hell story is a chilling tale of the ultimate evil that lurks inside all of us. The story follows a writer (Gerald) who learns his childhood neighbor may not have been your average, friendly guy. One day, while they're both home alone, the old man gives Gerald a pair of binoculars to look at something in his garage that was recently delivered to him. As it turns out, he had been expecting a young woman with black hair and dark eyes - but instead he gets someone else entirely.

One day, Grover Gardner, a successful businessman and married father of two daughters, finds himself in a staff meeting at the bank where he works. It is only routine for him, as these meetings are held twice a week during his lunch break. But this one is different. He absentmindedly starts picking up the pens on the table, using them to jot down notes on his hand.

Grover Gardner was an actor who's career started in the late 1950's and continued until his death in 1998. He appeared in over 60 different productions on live television and in hundreds of films. He's been nominated for a Tony award and won a 1994 Daytime Emmy Award for his performance as 'Fritz' on the soap opera "Santa Barbara".

The Dark Half is an amazing story about a writer who received a strange manuscript that was half horror story and half memoir. His wife who was pregnant with their third child found the manuscript in the basement of their house and got it published, but little did anyone know that there was something else inside the book...

Stephen King's The Dark Half audiobook is one of the best horror novels ever written. It's told in the point of view of a man named Thad Beaumont who has to deal with something that we all fear, "the dark half." His is his twin whom he was separated at birth and must kill as part of a ritual. It's been years since King has published a novel, but this one will have readers hooked.
