The Cousins Free Audiobook Download by Karen M. Mcmanus

"Oh, this is going to be good," I thought to myself when I saw the cover of this book. The Cousins by Karen M. Mcmanus was a perfect choice for me because I love historical fiction and the Civil War Era. This audiobook had everything that I love about historical novels- drama, tragedy, deceit, romance and a good ghost story. The Cousins tells the story of two twins who find themselves at odds with each other over their wilder tendencies and their somewhat shady pasts.

"The Cousins" is a captivating and moving story that will stay with the listener long after finishing the audiobook. The author's ability to weave a tale of love between two people in war torn Ireland was amazing, leaving listeners emotionally invested in the outcome. In this world filled with twists and turns, "The Cousins" captured my attention from start to finish and I would recommend it as perfect for listeners who like historical fiction or a mystery/suspense genre.

A story about a girl, her three male cousins, and the summer they spend together in Mississippi. The Cousins is a nonfiction narrative that discusses how the "blood kin" of female slaves were often sold off to white plantations in order to gain profit. It tells the story of one such family and the gradual process of reconnecting as they are all forced to face their own pasts before they can move on with their lives.

The Cousins is a suspenseful novel about family secrets and the outcomes of choices that are made. The novel is narrated by four different women, each sharing different insights from their own perspective. It also features strong themes of family, motherhood, and forgiveness.

The Cousins by Karen M. Mcmanus is a historical novel set in the summer of 1912, which takes place in the countryside of Ireland. The story follows the members of two families, the Maguires and the O'Connor's. It is narrated by four narrators who represent different characters and perspectives within each family. There are also many other narrators as well, who represent characters within the book; such as servants, local people, travelers, Irish language experts and more.

As a Texas native, I love novels with historical fiction and family dynamics. The Cousins by Karen M. Mcmanus is an entertaining and emotional story about a land dispute in the 1800s. It takes place in the Ozarks which is my favorite part of this novel because it is so rich in lore and mythology. This novel features many Southern accents that make it really stand out from other novels with similar settings.
