The Cinder Spires: The Aeronaut's Windlass Free Audiobook Download by Jim Butcher

Euan Morton's performance as Aeronautics Engineer Ken 'The Skinner' Oleson is a bit more formal than Butcher's, but it serves to make the listener feel like they are listening to Ken. The pacing of the story is perfect and conveys trepidation from Ken as he struggles to understand what's happening around him, who he can trust, and how he was come here. Additionally, the narration is well-suited for this type of story with a driving tone when necessary, but also quite introspective at times.

The Cinder Spires is a fantasy novel by Jim Butcher. It is set in the world of urban fantasy where wizards, dwarves and other beings of legend coexist with humans. The novel is narrated by Euan Morton who has been hired to recount the tale of a mercenary called Harry Dresden.

This is the second book in the Codex Alera series, and the first audiobook that I have listened to. I'm not sure if it was my fault for not being completely familiar with the story or if I was just really unlucky, but this book ended up being a slog to listen to. When you're listening to an audiobook, it's easy to get distracted and lose your concentration. The narrator did make some interesting choices in character voices (especially when they were speaking in their native language), but there was just too much focus on battle scenes that were already so over-written (or were starting out as such) that they wore me down further and further with each sentence.

The Cinder Spires is the latest release of the Dresden Files and it was an excellent installment. I am a fan of Jim Butcher's work, so I was excited to listen to this book. I have already listened to it twice and can't wait to start listening again-it's that good!

Jim Butcher's first book in his Dresden Files series, The Cinder Spires, is now available for download from Audible.com in both English and Spanish. Morton voices the audiobook of this urban fantasy story about a wizard who must use all his wit and power to avoid being turned into a frog.

The Cinder Spires is the second book in Jim Butcher's fantasy series Codex Alera. The book follows the events of the first novel, Furies of Calderon. It is narrated by Euan Morton, a member of the Circle and one of whom was chosen to become part of the new elite Imperial Legion. As with all books in this series, it offers a fast-paced and interesting narrative that has both action and humor.
