They are 18 years old, and starting at a new high school for the first time in their lives. Everything is okay for a few months until one night when their mom leaves them home alone for the weekend.

The story follows a young woman named Colleen as she moves from L.A. to New York in the hope of landing a job at the prestigious magazine, "The Address." She quickly finds her dream job and falls in love with her boss, Martin. Things don't go the way Colleen expected though and she begins to question everything about her life and past. What starts as a love story turns into a mystery when Martin's wife, Marion, enters their lives again.

Fiona Davis wrote "The Address" as a response to the events of 9/11. The novel goes through the day that includes the morning of September 11, 2001, and also tells the story of several other characters during that same day. Davis uses these two different storylines to explore how many individuals were affected by this event and how it connected people from very different backgrounds.

The Address is a novel about a family and the last woman living in their home. In the 1950s, the land of their house was abandoned after nuclear fallout and people are moving out of Manhattan to go underground. They are trying to find away to survive because they don't want to live in fear anymore. The children have taken over and they go into the basement where they try to maintain power by using generators at night. One day, Lily enters the basement with her friend and finds an old suitcase that has a letter from her mother in it. She decides that she wants to read it for clues so she can figure out where her mother went when she left without saying goodbye. As Lily reads the letter, she discovers pieces of information about herself and what happened when her father died as well as other events related.

"The Address" is a novel by American author Fiona Davis. This book tells the story of two women, one white and one black, who live on the same block in Birmingham, Alabama. The main characters are Alice and Millie. In the beginning of the novel, both women are living with their mother who is addicted to drugs and alcohol. They end up living in two separate apartments on the same row after their mother dies of a drug overdose. The women have many differences between them such as how they dress and act towards each other, but they also have some similarities like being friends with their transgender neighbor Sam as well as having empathy for each other's struggles that they must endure.
