Her plan is simple: go out into the park, get chased by a bear, get attacked by vampires, then find her way back to safety. Luckily for her she has Riley's skills at her disposal and some clever friends back home who have created an elaborate security plan to make it look like they got eaten by bears too.

She has a lot of anxiety issues and struggles to communicate with others. When she meets Jack, he takes her under his wing to help break down some walls that have been built up over time.

She ends up getting captured later by a man named Peter who takes her back to his apartment and where he keeps other kidnapped women. They all have the same thing happening to them: they are being fed drugs and raped.
