Street Divas is a dramatic novel about three women who come together to find their voices and escape the violence in their lives. The narrator, De'nesha, is a high school dropout who was recently released from prison. She meets two other students, Mika and Kesa, who are also trying to escape their violent pasts by reinventing themselves as professional dancers. Street Divas follows these women as they struggle to deal with criminal organizations, gang members, and police officers while still trying to stay afloat as professional dance partners.

Street Divas is a story about four women who have been friends since childhood. Over time, the four ladies have lived their lives doing what they love and helping people in their community. This book is about a woman named Tina who is living the dream of being a model. But her life changes when she gets into a terrible accident and becomes paralyzed from the waist down. One of the best books I have read in a long time is Street Divas by De'Nesha Diamond. It is about three sisters that plan to make it big on Chicago's South Side. The book is well written, and the narration was fantastic by Karen Pittman and Soozi Cheyenne. This book makes you want to live your life on a South Side, too.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, De'nesha Diamond is a businesswoman of color known for her streetwear line called Diamond Supply Co. with the motto 'street divas by diamond supply co.'. She started the company to bring back fashion that came from her personal experiences as a woman of color living in New York City. In this audiobook, she shares her story of how she used her style to meet people and make friends. Her journey takes listeners from feeling like an outsider in school, to being inspired by music and movies, to eventually establishing herself as a person of color in the fashion industry
