Small Favor Free Audiobook Download by Jim Butcher
"Small Favor" is one of the most recent Jim Butcher novels to be released. It's a quick and easy read, perfect for a weekend or holiday read. There's nothing too serious going on in this book- because it's written by Jim Butcher, you know that you're in good hands.
Technically, this was an audiobook that I listened to. I have never actually read the book but I did enjoy the audiobook. It is a longer audiobook so if you are looking for something shorter this might not be it. The narrator does a good job with voices and accents which made it very easy to follow. This was one of my favorite audiobooks and I would recommend it to anyone who likes urban fantasy.
Small Favor is a stand-alone Dresden Files novel by Jim Butcher. It is narrated in the first person, and begins two days after the events of Dead Beat, with Harry Dresden's motorbike having been stolen.
One day, Harry Dresden gets a call from someone claiming to be his long lost father. The person says they want to talk and that they want to meet him at a local coffee shop. When Harry arrives, it turns out that the person he is meeting is human, not one of the various supernatural beings who claim to be Harry's father. But when something goes wrong, the human who claims to be his father reveals himself as a White Court vampire. And now Harry has no choice but to save himself from the creature that may just kill him before he can find out what this 'small favor' really is.
Big Favor is a stand-alone urban fantasy novel written by Jim Butcher and narrated by James Marsters. The story follows Darby, a New York City police officer, as she recovers from her failed marriage by becoming an Unpaid Assassin for hire. She begins to investigate the occult and Fae culture when she realizes someone is murdering people with magical powers in order to take their power away.
This is the latest installment of the Dresden Files series. Harry, a private investigator and wizard, has been hired by a very old friend to find his missing son.
