Shaped by the Waves Free Audiobook Download by Christina Suzann Nelson

Shaped by the Waves is about a woman named Beverly who falls in love with surfing when she was young. She tries to get back into practicing it when she becomes an adult, but because of a car accident that leaves her unable to walk again, she has to take up running instead. The main character faces many struggles while running and finds support with other runners through the sport of running.

A story about three close friends, their journey of discovery, and the way life changes as we grow up is ingeniously written in Christina Suzann Nelson's debut novel 'Shaped by the Waves'. The book follows the lives of a group of four friends from childhood through adulthood. Throughout their journeys, it becomes evident that being shaped by the waves is something that happens over time. As people mature and experience different things, they change and become a little more like themselves, never going back to what they were when they were younger.

Rebecca Quinn Robertson gives a brilliant performance in this audiobook, the first of its kind for me. I never would have imagined that such a great narrator could have been chosen for this piece. The tone is perfect in every way and makes it easy to get lost within the story.

Shaped by the Waves is a thriller about a woman named Emma who goes on a surfing trip with her family to celebrate the life of her twin brother, Matt. Emma struggles to find the things she loves in the wake of trauma but eventually finds peace and acceptance in surfing, until strange experiences at sea cause her to change course and lead her down a path she never expected.

"It is said that when a mermaid becomes human, her tail splits off into three parts. One part becomes the soul of the mermaid. The second part becomes the mermaid's body. And the third part—the most beautiful and coveted—becomes the human's heart."

Shaped by the Waves is a book about surfing and the power of waves. It's also a story of love and family in coastal Australia, where there are strict guidelines for when to go surfing. The author, Christina Suzann Nelson, spends her summers in Byron Bay and has always loved the water. She shares this love of surfing with her two daughters, one who was born into the Coastal Queensland surf culture and the other who was shaped at home by books like Shaped by the Waves
