Shallow Waters: A Novel Free Audiobook Download by Anita Kopacz

Shallow Waters, Michelle's debut novel, is the poignant story of new love and the risks that come with it.

Shallow Waters was originally written in Polish and then translated to English by Anita Kopacz. The story follows the story of two siblings, Janina and Robert, and their parents' struggle to survive in a world where food is scarce and far between. The book is written from the perspective of Janina, who has had little or no contact with her parents since she was a child. It's told in third person limited point of view - which means that only one character's thoughts are revealed at a time. The three main characters adapt to their surroundings through technology - using radios and phones to talk to each other, books as reference resources, and even newspapers to tell stories.

After a spell in the U.S., Polish author Anita Kopacz returned to her homeland and began to write Shallow Waters, set in a small village on the edge of his native country. The story follows three sisters as they try to create lives for themselves in their childhood home.

'Shallow Waters' is a story of two young women's journey through grief and love. Like many people, Lila and her husband feel empty without their children in their lives. However, for Lila, the emptiness comes in waves that only seem to get worse as time goes on. When she meets Solenne and discovers solace with her new friend, Lila begins to find peace again by following her son's trail.
