After a while she is able to walk and talk so David starts teaching her how to survive in the new world that has emerged after the nuclear holocaust. By the time you've reached the end of this book, you'll be ready to settle down with a good vampire story. It's that intriguing storytelling. The narration by Sandra Burr is absolutely perfect for this novel and she does an excellent job reading the whole book.
