Shadow of Doubt Free Audiobook Download by Terri Blackstock
If you enjoy a mystery thriller, then I recommend this book to you. There's a lot of suspense and suspenseful moments that are realistic. I was captivated by the plot and the way it developed.
Terri Blackstock wrote a crime thriller about a single mother, Holly Burden, who is kidnapped and held for ransom. Holly quickly learns that she's not the only one being held against their will. As the kidnappers are threatening her life, they're also threatening the lives of her son and daughter. Her kidnappers are keeping them locked in separate rooms with no food or water until they get the ransom they want. Holly fears the worst at every turn, but as she spends more time with her captors she realizes that something is different about them- something that doesn't sit right with her...
Shadow of Doubt is an interesting story. The narrator was really good, but I felt like there was a lot more that could have been put in this book. There were some moments when I actually found myself skimming and listening to the narration because there wasn't anything else going on and I was bored with the story.
Terri Blackstock is one of the most well-known Christian authors. She is known for her work in historical fiction and suspense, which includes multiple award-winning novels. Her latest novel is Shadow of Doubt, which takes place during an 1878 Colorado Springs trial.
Shadow of Doubt is a story about family, forgiveness, and the healing power of love. It was a beautiful book with a satisfying ending.
