Scarlet Feather Free Audiobook Download by Maeve Binchy
Maeve Binchy's Scarlet Feather is one of the most popular books in the Irish author's career. The story centers on a young woman, Mary O'Reilly, who is attempting to escape her life as the daughter of an alcoholic father.
Maeve Binchy was a prolific author of over fifty books, and her best-selling novel Scarlet Feather is just one of them. I've been interested in this particular book for a while, but never found the time to read it until now. The audiobook was narrated by two astounding voice actors, 'Barbara Caruso' who I had heard before from narrations of classics like Pride and Prejudice and 'Caroline Winterson' who I normally hear in more light-hearted stories that would make me laugh, so it was interesting to see her bring out the other side of Binchy's writing style.
In the 8th novel of the 'Scarlet Feather Trilogy', Maeve Binchy's love story continues as Rose and her childhood sweetheart Stephen Black enjoy a passionate romance despite facing challenges that they're not prepared for.
Maeve Binchy created stories that were deeply moving, and one of her most popular was Scarlet Feather. The story is about a woman who has been dying for a long time but refuses to give up hope, despite everything that has happened to her. It's narrated by two different characters at different parts of the story, which makes it an interesting watch.
Binchy's collection of short stories follows a small Irish village and its inhabitants in the following seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall. The stories are primarily about the relationships of family members and neighbors, but also include some interesting characters from the Village who give insight into life on the outside of Ireland.
