This book is amazing. I loved it! The heroine, Lady Gwen, has been raised to be a lady and help her family with their castle's upkeep. But she's had a crush on the Duke of Stonebrook for years and when his father passes away and he is left in charge she sees her chance to finally win him over. She sets about trying to convince him that she is what he needs in his life. It does not go well at first as Gwen can't seem to get anything right but eventually they fall for each other and things are more promising than ever.

[Rose] is a charming narrator with a bright, effervescent voice. She maintains a believable, almost elegant tone throughout the book. The narrator portrays a wide range of emotions and tones in an engaging way. The audiobook was professionally done and overall I enjoyed listening to it!
