Reaper Man: (Discworld Novel 11) Free Audiobook Download by Terry Pratchett

Reaper Man is the eleventh installment in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series and it centers around a man from the far future who has come to collect souls. The Reapers are different from other time-travelers; they prefer to remove souls rather than change history. To collect a soul, they have invented an apparatus that looks like a big vacuum cleaner with wheels, which can suck up anything, including people, animals, buildings, and even the ground beneath their feet.

Discworld #11 tells the story of Sam Vimes, a member of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, who is tasked with tracking down a dangerous criminal by his Captain. After an unsuccessful escape attempt, Sam is taken in by an old man to be his apprentice. The old man turns out to be Death himself and as Sam begins training under Death's tutelage, he learns that he has been granted one last chance at redemption.

Reaper Man takes place in a fantasy world where Death is the ultimate equalizer and there are many ways to become immortal. The protagonist of this novel, the aptly named Reaper Man, has been afraid of death for most of his life. Now that he's faced with an oncoming tsunami of death, he's hellbent on becoming immortal himself. For him, that means learning from Death itself.

Reaper Man is the thirteenth installment of Terry Pratchett's Discworld Novels and it follows the story of Twoflower, an interdimensional tourist who has recently arrived in Ankh-Morpork. He is given a big sack by Death and told that he must return to his home world in order to live. Soon after arriving, he becomes attracted to Susan Penmark and she convinces him that there is more to their relationship than what meets the eye. But when Twoflower starts becoming more involved with her life, he soon learns that those ties are going to be hard to break

Death is back in the land of the living and as usual, it's up to Rincewind (a wizard) to stop him. With the help of Twoflower, a tourist from our world, who becomes Death's apprentice, things seem to be looking up for our hero.

The audiobook for Reaper Man is narrated by Tony Robinson, who is a well-known actor on the BBC. The narrator actually ends up sounding closer to this accent in real life than he does in the audiobook, so it can be annoying sometimes.
