Quiet in Her Bones Free Audiobook Download by Nalini Singh

This book is the first in a paranormal romance series following Nalini and Jardir from their first meeting as adversaries to their final encounter as lovers. The idea of the paranormal aspect of this story attracted me because that's my favorite genre and also because I prefer audiobooks to reading physical books. The narrator, Raj Varma, did an excellent job of recreating an innovative voice for each character and adding emotion.

The story begins with Grace Marks, who has been dubbed as one of the most dangerous serial killers of all time by a media obsessed with sensational headlines. She's been sentenced to death at 23 years old and given eight years to live on death row. A decade later, she's still alive, but her life is spent within the walls of a prison. At first glance, this sounds like an engaging paranormal read, but I found myself wishing for something more than what was being offered.
