Lee Child's character Jack Reacher is back in this action-packed thriller. It's a real nail biter that hooks you from the very beginning and keeps you on your toes until the last page.

Jack Reacher is a retired military policeman. He has sought out trouble his whole life, but now he's bored from the age of 50 and seems to have found it. He stumbles upon a case that sounds like plenty of trouble and finds himself in the middle of it. The attention grabbing aspects of this book are Reacher's quirky personality, which includes things such as being unable to operate a wristwatch (unless you've tried it then you know what I'm talking about) and not washing or shaving in years. The story alternates between first person narration by Jack Reacher and third person narration by his younger brother Margot; this form may confuse beginning listeners because they are not sure which one is speaking at any given time.

Dick Hill is a great narrator who gives the perfect balance of emotion and action in his voice. Overall, this is a good audio book to fall asleep to
