Perfect Bones Free Audiobook Download by A J Waines

Perfect Bones by A J Waines is a well written, detailed, and informative book about the healing powers of dance/movement/exercise. I enjoyed this audiobook because it inspired me to take up exercise as a means of self-healing.

When I was handed a copy of Perfect Bones by A J Waines for review, I thought it would be a slow read. I seriously did not expect to enjoy the book so much and to be completely hooked. The story follows 16 year old protagonist Jane Bertholomew who is constantly bullied at school due to her height and weight. One day she overhears that her father will be coming home from his two year trip too soon and that he wants her more than anything in the world. She plans on telling him how she feels but has second thoughts when she finds out he had been cheating on her mother with someone else.

Perfect Bones is the worthy successor to the Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. The story begins with a woman who disappeared some years ago, only for her body to be discovered recently; being told it was a suicide.

Perfect Bones is a work of non fiction, but it reads like a captivating novel. It's about the author's journey to recover from chronic anorexia through diet, exercise and cognitive therapy.

"Perfect Bones" is a fantastic journey of discovery, one that will provide you with facts about how our body's skeletal structure determines everything from our life span to our fitness levels.
