I love audiobooks, and read them all the time. I always get super excited when a new audiobook becomes available, especially one by an author I already love! I found a bunch of good reviews for Orson Scott Card's novel Pathfinder on Audible, so I decided to purchase it. The narrator was Scott Brick, and Kirby Heyborne did a great job as well! This book is about a man who runs into his old friend from childhood, whose grandfather he had just helped before he died. Because of course they know each other and there is some confusion as to who this man is.

There are many fantasy and science-fiction audiobooks on Audible, but not all of them are of the same quality. One book that I found to be an exceptional audiobook is Pathfinder by Orson Scott Card. The protagonist is a young boy, Jak, living on a planet called Lirith Kai. He has just received a map from his father that shows all the significant locations on the planet as well as how long it takes for light to reach there, and thus he can plot his way to his destination with little risk of getting lost in the process.

In Pathfinder 45-year-old Joshua is the last living human on Earth. Trying to survive with no memory of his past, he is approached by a vast army of machines and robots that want him to be their leader. After an invasion of their world, they have the technology to restore humanity but they need humans like Joshua to help them do it.
