Palindrome Free Audiobook Download by Stuart Woods
The story of a man who, after being framed for the murder of his beautiful wife, becomes a killer himself. The novel is narrated by an anonymous narrator in prison with the protagonist.
The greatest con man of them all, Teddy Feller, is back and this time he's going to play the game by his own rules. But it's not all fun and games for him when he learns that there was an attempt on his life and someone is out to kill him.
Palindrome is narrated in the first person by a college professor who has been studying a pentomino piece and has begun to obsess over it. The professor also refers to himself in third person as he attempts to make sense of the puzzle. The narrator's girlfriend, however, becomes frustrated with his obsession and leaves him, leading him down a dangerous path of buying her back and putting her under lock and key.
Palindrome is a well-written thriller that features familiar characters from the author's previous novels. The story follows a disgruntled carpenter who buys a mausoleum and then discovers that it was purchased by his old friend. When the cops arrive, he takes them on an unexpected adventure with plenty of twists and turns along the way. Gabra Zackman does a great job narrating this novel, providing both humor and tension in different parts of the story.
Stuart Woods has created a mystery that will keep you guessing until the last minute. It hooked me from the beginning and kept me listening to every audiobook chapter. I am only sorry that it ended as soon as it did because I wanted more of this book.
