Odd Numbers Free Audiobook Download by Jj Marsh

The Audiobook is narrated by two different readers, Paul Panting and Jess Nesling. This audio book was released on December 12, 2016.

Most people know Plutarch from the lost biographies of Socrates, as a general writer of historical and philosophical works. However, in his short life of about fifty-six years, he wrote more than eighty essays on a variety of topics. Many of these essays have survived to the present day, and have been adapted into short stories or plays.

The narrator of the audiobook, Paul Panting, has a rough voice that is perfect for this type of book. It's not a soft gentle voice like you would expect from an audiobook narrated by Jess Nesling. It's low and gravelly to make it sound like the narrator is speaking from some place deep in his stomach or have a gruffness to him as if he's speaking with his mouth full of feathers.

Have you ever been part of the ebb and flow of numbers that are the basis of our lives? Whether it's the number of people in your life, the amount of time you've spent on a project, or even how many other people are in the room, we all have an intimate relationship with numbers. In 'Odd Numbers', author Jj Marsh deftly examines these relationships by telling stories of individual experiences with numbers as they trickle into their lives. With tales ranging from mathematical to philosophical and personal, readers will be able to identify with some of these odd numbers throughout this short book.

The audiobook 'Odd Numbers' follows a day in the life of Jack, a university student who wakes up with an amazing ability that allows him to see numbers in everything. The first few chapters are narrated by Jack as he tries to come to terms with his new power and the chaotic and funny events it brings along.

Jess and Paul are a married couple of thirty who have their hands full raising their three children. When Jess discovers that she's pregnant with number four, they decide to make the most of it by moving to a new house in the suburbs. They put on hold everything else in their lives to focus on raising their children, but as time goes on they grow frustrated with the lack of time they spend together. As they attempt to rekindle the spark that brought them together, they realize they may need something more than just each other.
