A man on the run will risk everything to find a lost treasure. When John Finnis discovers a long-hidden secret, he must do anything to get his hands on it. His quest is threatened by his own personal demons. He's willing to risk his life, even if it means crossing people he cares about in order to take possession of the treasure that has been revealed to him.
In the beginning of Oath of Honor, we are introduced to New York City's police officers as they do their morning run. The morning is filled with the sounds of sirens and clanging metal as the officers run through the city. They hear a voice and look up to see a man running through traffic. The police officer pulls out his gun and fires but nothing happens. When they pull the gun out again, it works perfectly. The man is revealed to be a shape-shifter who was trying to warn them about something going on in Central Park that night which would have been disastrous for them if they hadn't seen him first.
The story follows a former Marine sniper, Jake Meyer, as he is recruited by an eccentric billionaire to be the main bodyguard for his daughter, young Camelia. The two arrive in Washington D.C., and she is kidnapped right before their eyes. Jake fights to bring her back, while trying not to harm her captors and while keeping Camelia safe from the CIA who wants Camelia dead.
